Our Crossover slipper design is an ideal knitting kit for a beginner knitter. These knit slippers are simple enough to knit while watching television or chatting your way through knitting group. This easy and straightforward pattern looks really impressive once you've stitched it to the soles.
The slippers can be washed as wool and allowed to dry naturally. You can see all the colours for our Crossover slipper design
Kit includes:
- Pure wool yarn
- 1 pair thick felt top soles
- 1 pair thick felt outsoles with latex grip (or a second pair of felt soles with your choice of suede leather, vinyl or Vibram rubber outsoles)
- Super strong thread and a blunt needle for stitching up
- Full instructions
- All packed in an organza project bag which makes an ideal gift or travel bag for your finished slippers
All our adult size slipper designs, including the Crossover slipper, can be made in womens' sizes from 1-14
If you choose the felt outsole option they will come with a latex paint applied to give a bit of grip.
We offer additional outsole options for the Crossover kit: strong and supple Italian suede soles; flexible Vibram rubber soles - which are undoubtedly the best for grip and hard wear as well as being waterproof; and finally vinyl soles as an economical alternative whilst still adding a waterproof, wipe-clean finish.
Joe's Toes slippers are cosy and lightweight. The Crossover slippers pack very easily for visiting friends and family, and are an ideal gift to pop in the post. The knitted pattern is comfortable for all foot shapes and will adapt to suit many feet that would normally need bespoke footwear.
We have chosen our favourite combinations of yarn, top sole and outsole. Free free to add a note to your order if you would like to change any of the sole colours.
